Directions

From the M60 (Anti-clockwise):

  1. Exit at Junction 5, then leave at the second junction signed A560.
  2. At the roundabout, turn left (signed Sharston).
  3. Go straight on at the next roundabout, then take the next left into Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and you’ll find the car park on the right at the very end of the road.

From the M60 (Clockwise):

  1. Exit at Junction 4 onto the M56.
  2. Exit at Junction 2 (signed Wythenshawe).
  3. At the roundabout, go right into Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

From the M6 (Cheshire):

  1. Join the M56 and exit at Junction 3A signed A560.
  2. Turn right onto the A560 and continue straight over the next roundabout.
  3. At the following roundabout, turn left into Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

Arrival instructions

Using APH Manchester Park and Ride is easy:

  1. Drive to the entry barrier at the very end of the road (on the right).
  2. The barrier will open automatically as you approach.
  3. Park in one of the marked arrival bays, then head to reception.
  4. Hand over your keys and hop on the quick transfer bus to the airport.
  5. Please allow enough time for check-in and transfer.

Return instructions

Picking up your car is just as easy:

  1. Once you’ve landed at Manchester Airport, call or text APH to let us know you’ve arrived.
  2. Head to the APH bus stop just outside your terminal.
  3. Take the short transfer ride back to the car park.
  4. Collect your keys from reception and you’ll be ready to drive away.

Security

  • Your vehicle is safe while you’re away:

    • CCTV coverage

    • 24-hour manned patrols

    • Entry & exit barriers

  • Cars may be parked at either the main site (drop-off location), or The covered Dome site (a few hundred yards away).
    All vehicles are returned to the main site ready for collection.

Disabled facilities

  • Staff available to help load/unload luggage.

  • Disabled toilet available on site.

  • Transfer buses are wheelchair-friendly.

Transfer details

  1. Transfers run 24/7, every 15 minutes.
  2. Journey time: approx. 10 minutes.
  3. Please allow extra time for possible airport roadway congestion.

Vehicle restrictions

  • Any vehicle that fits into a standard parking bay and can be driven on a standard licence is accepted.

  • Max vehicle height: 2.4m.

  • If your car has a ghost immobiliser, your booking may need upgrading to a Self Park option (additional £20).

Luggage Restrictions

  • Not permitted on transfer coaches: bikes, surf/windsurf boards, or similar large items.

  • Permitted: skis and snowboards.

    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking anytime before your parking period begins without any hassle or charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at the pre-booked arrival time you select during your reservation.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking before your arrival time, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
